On an afternoon in early spring teeming with possibility, a large crowd gathered to cheer and chant and sing. They were fed up with the all-consuming empire which seemed intent on eating the world.
Throwing silly little parties patches up our holes, like a darn in a sock. I still haven’t had a sock darning party, but that was just about the only party I didn’t have this year.
Public lands are ours to protect and ours to enjoy. So many of us have enjoyed public lands by hiking, camping, instagraming, or road tripping. Now we need to protect them.
