It is important to me that I always be able to pack a bag in half an hour and take off around the world.
In the winter of 2018 I happened across a $300 ticket to London and back, and I took it. There followed four sleep-deprived, travel-crazed days of wandering from St. Paul’s Cathedral, to the Prime Meridian, to tea shops in the East End, and back.
