Alaska 2017

“It’s a time honored truth – fishermen should not be left in charge of anything other than their own boat. And even then there are some restrictions.” – Hardly a Hill, July 2017

For a few months the summer of 2017 I ran a fishing lodge in Sitka, Alaska. There were only 14 miles of road on the island but the photography opportunities were unparalleled. I spent the time climbing mountains, visiting bears, and off-shore fishing for king salmon and halibut.
