My passion for photography comes from a passion for stories. I am struck by the simple beauty in the little moments I see every day,
Moments like a woman with her child tied to her back, walking under an archway of trees…
Or these stairs in an old boating warehouse…
A child playing on her front porch…
Crew members inspecting their boat for cracks…
All of these are moments which appear for the briefest of seconds and then disappear
My work is to use camera and pen, like a butterfly net, to capture the moments I see before they flit away forever
By reading this blog you have stepped into my world, a world were stories and pictures and moments are more precious than gold. I hope you enjoy it here, and are able to see things you might not have noticed otherwise. And my biggest hope most of all is that when you leave you too would have A Lens for the World.
